So you’re a club, eh?
In a nutshell, yes. We are a very loose group of people that are united by the common bond of loving automobiles and the culture that surrounds them.
Do you guys have a clubhouse?
No. We just get together at varying locales both publicly and privately to enjoy ourselves.
I don’t get it… What do you guys do?
It’s really quite simple. We contact each other at the last possible minute to go to different events. Most of the people don’t show up and the few that do have a great time at the car meet, canyon drive, track day, whatever.
So you guys race?
Some of us. It’s definitely not a requirement to be welcomed and well received by us.
That (insert car here) isn’t very exotic…
Well, a lot of the time exotic doesn’t necessarily refer to just the car but also its driver and many other factors. One might not think a Audi A4 is exotic but there is a member that owns one and he out-drives Ferraris.
So what do I have to do to join?
Most of the time you should just check back here for event info. A lot of the car meets that we go to are open to the public. Show up to one of those and introduce yourself to us. Also, you can start commenting on here and make yourself known online.
What are all these crazy symbols and letters that I have to punch in every time I comment?
That is our Captcha system. It makes sure you are human and not a spammer/nigerian/bot.
But when I comment I don’t have an avatar! How will you know what I look like?
This site uses the gravatar protocol to generate user images. Head over to http://en.gravatar.com/ to set up your own. Then when you register with a certain email your global avatar will follow you from site to site.
