After a long winter hiatus, we are set to get back into the swing of things. I’m hoping at some point this year to integrate Facebook with our site so we can have a better RSVP system. Also, we have a couple of interesting events lined up. Emails for those will be sent out by Brian shortly.

In unrelated news, Chris just sent around a cool video which I’m going to link up here… The Highcroft Acura ARX-01C going around Laguna Seca. I happened to have attended that race and am still editing my pictures. Hopefully I’ll have those up this year too. Enjoy your laps around the famous Mazda Raceway…

A friend of mine has recently decided to let go of his Saab 9-3 Viggen. You may be asking yourself just how exotic a Saab 9-3 is, with good reason. You will find, though, that it is the Viggen bit that makes this car truly special. The Viggen started life at Saab as a medium range fighter bomber. To commemorate the figher, Saab Automobile introduced the 9-3 Viggen from 1999 to 2002. (continue reading…)

So, it has been a while since we have had a nice drive together, as Bexgar pointed out. I, on a very personal level, have missed these outings and have been feverishly trying to put one together. Unfortunately, the rainy season is upon us in full swing. I’m looking out my window at gray clouds and failing rain; all of which is supposed to last through this weekend thus spoiling any chance of a scenic tour. Seeing as our machines mostly have summer tires on them (and in Brian’s case slicks), we are finicky about driving 50 miles away from home when rain is possible. So alas, we wait. I’m sad to say it but I had to scrap the last website again (I know this is like version 4 or something), as I just haven’t been able to pull the functionality that I was expecting out of it. I do believe, however, that this new update will be the last for a while as it incorporates many of the features I was looking for right out of the box. Please feel free to register and notice that you can now comment on individual articles, something the last site lacked. Soon we will have our gallery back as well as a host of new content. Get ready for a couple great new ideas to bring the community together.

Anyways, for the time being this page is going to be under development and its going to get hectic.
