State of the FIA

As you may or may not know, the FIA is an all encompassing governing body for many of the premier forms of motorsport. The FIA has come under fire as of late for making late decisions on penalties after a race has been completed thereby demoting a drivers classification or disqualifying them all together. For those of us in the States who don’t have EuroSport, I’d like to show you a video I stumbled across on how far the mismanagement of the World Touring Car Championship has slipped. Looks pretty organized, eh?

Will I completely agree,
With only one disagreement. The deployment of the safety car during this race and the complete idiocracy of the driver behind the wheel of the safety car is fault of race control. Granted the FIA has recently made some the stupidest decisions and made some allegations towards FOTA that are just plain, well excuse my french, but fucking retarded! But they unfortunately cannot be blamed for a poorly managed safety car. FIA has raised all the fees of membership and the prequisites for an FIA license and is making it more and more difficult for upcoming drivers to make it to a respectable level of racing without a wallet the size of, well a big ass wallet. Maybe, just maybe with Mr. Jean Todt at the helm we can get rid these horrible years of Max Mosely rule and move forward to better the world of top level racing.

Totally agree. Of course, you and I both know that Bert Maylander would have never let this happen.
